dusty roomblack spots
the room showed clear problems with moisture. black spots were visible at the window. the room felt quite dusty. cleaning did not meet my expectations.

the staff was friendly and helpful with all my requests. having a washer & dryer in the room was so useful. it really helped me pack light. the location is quiet. but it is very walkable to the subway and other local attractions.
The wifi reception wasn't great. It made working remotely challenging. i hope they improve the signal strength. it could definitely be better.

The hotel is near the subway. It's close to nishiki market. it is also close to many restaurants. many temples are within walking distance. the neighborhood was very convenient.

The front desk staff speaks good english. i could leave my luggage early. I found the staff very helpful. the check-in process was smooth. staff members are always available and very professional.

Breakfast was good. the restaurant also had evening service. a great ramen place is right around the corner. There are many options nearby. the hotel offered free sake, coffee, and lattes everyday in the lobby.

i found a washing machine in the room. the location seemed good. the staff were helpful and friendly. free coffee was available in the foyer.
the air-conditioning was not adjustable. this meant the room could get uncomfortably warm. i had to open the window to cool the room. i also noticed there was no daily cleaning provided.

free morning coffeeroom cleaning
The rooms included all the amenities I needed, and the free morning coffee was appreciated. Though the breakfast area got crowded.
I was quite annoyed that the room cleaning was only done once a week! It is unacceptable the bathroom wasn't cleaned more often. I had to request extra towels.
